Over the past two years, my work has evolved towards an approach rooted in automatism. In this process, forms emerge spontaneously from uncontrolled marks and lines, while technical and compositional work defines and selects those that feel meaningful and deeply resonate within me, marking the path forward.
As the piece takes shape, I uncover underlying themes that, while present within me, had remained unconscious. Thus, automatism becomes a liberating and creative journey, where a playful, seemingly random structure gives rise to forms that shape the work. These forms are expressed through a language that blends the figurative and the abstract, playing with a deeply personal surrealism.
The interplay of light and shadow seeks to create an introspective atmosphere, inviting reflection and self-discovery.
