Belarusian sculptor Dmitry Oganov was born in 1976 in the city of Novopolotsk into the family of the renowned sculptor Lev Oganov. From early childhood, Dmitry was fascinated by drawing and sculpture, receiving his first lessons under the guidance of his father, a graduate of the I.E. Repin Academy of Arts. In 1998, he graduated from the A.K. Glebov Minsk Art College, Department of Sculpture, and in 2004 from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts with a degree in sculpture.

Dmitry Oganov works professionally in monumental-decorative and easel sculpture, employing bronze, stone, wood, and glass. The uniqueness of his art lies in the breadth of his creative and technical skills, which allow him to find plastic solutions that fully embody his artistic vision.
