Laura Iniesta was born in Barcelona (Spain, 1955), and from a very young age she was fascinated by the world of art and it was this city that she chose to begin her journey and study art.
Her first exhibitions were also held in her hometown of Barcelona.
Her vital energy and inquisitive nature led her to live in Colombia and Ecuador and exhibit in museums and galleries around the world.
Her Mediterranean roots required her to return to her homeland, where she now lives and works.
Laura Iniesta’s work is a material, gestural work of great strength and energy. Her works have the ability to touch the viewer, who does not remain indifferent.
Among his most important works are three murals made for CEIBS (China Europe International Business School) in Shanghai, China, in beautiful buildings designed by the Chinese-American architect, winner of the Pritzker Architecture Prize IMPei.
"It was like discovering a culture that was conceptually very close and at the same time very far away. Deep down, we are all made of the same stardust, our essence is the same," says Laura.
Currently, she continues to work and exhibit in numerous galleries and museums, and her works are highly prized by collectors all over the world.
Her Mediterranean heart brought her back to Barcelona, where she has been constantly developing her studio. It is here that he currently develops his numerous exhibitions and projects locally and internationally. He has exhibited in several countries, including China, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Denmark, Holland, France and the United States.
