Almudena Tapia
Almudena Tapia is a multifaceted artist whose art is grounded in the use of metaphors that permeate through poetic imagery and narrative, aiming to touch the viewer's soul and influence perception.
Tapia believes her creativity captures the harmony of each place or landscape, embodying everything within them—people, buildings, vegetation—which enriches and shapes our emotions and thoughts, creating an invisible legacy that surrounds us.
Her works are featured in the 21st Century Art Museum "Sapadores" in Madrid and are also held by private collectors.
ExhibitionsFollowing the "Holodomor" exhibition at ESPACIO RONDA in 2016, which depicted the events that occurred in Ukraine during 1932−1933, Tapia shifted her focus to the Spanish Civil War, particularly highlighting the country’s mass graves:
- "San Pedro de Cardeña" at ALDA CON LIMÓN gallery in 2017.
- "Flores de Valdenoceda" at LA NEOMUDEJAR in 2018.
- "5 Elegies for Carpio" at SAN gallery in the new ZAPADORES museum in 2021.
